Fall protection basic course provides a theoretical and practical review of safety at heights and helps the participant to conduct their work in a safe manner. The course complies with NSA's (Nordic safety association) regulations.

Goal

The goal with the course is to have knowledge of relevant laws and standards for working in fall risk environments as well as understanding what happens to the body in a fall. The participant should also learn how to use Personal Fall Protection Equipment in a correct and safe way. How to do a detailed risk assessment and rescue plans are also important skills the participant need to learn.

  • Correct use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment such as harness, self retractable lanyard, work positioning lanyard, fall arrest lanyard and carriage on wire and rail.
