2021 has been a big year for Cresto Group - not only for our team but also for our customers and partners. Thank you for sticking with us this past year; we couldn’t have done it without YOU and together we are working towards a more favourable situation on a daily basis!
Clearly it has also been a tough year, with component shortages, delivery challenges and a pandemic. However, the good news is that there have also been many great things happening this year that we want to share with you.
We are growing. During spring we acquired the British company Abtech Safety Ltd and their subsidiaries Outreach Rescue and ORMS. It will be fun and exciting to take the next step and broaden our activities on all fronts in the UK and European markets.
In July, we moved the Swedish company to new premises in Helsingborg, a small town close to Europe which is at the forefront of developments within, for example, sustainability. In this facility we will continue to train, run development activities, and create added value for our customers and partners.
It was a great pleasure for our team to take the opportunity to participate in both HUSUM Wind and the A + A Trade Fairs in Germany. Meeting our customers, partners and colleagues gave the whole team new energy - and the result? We have discovered many new opportunities and potential for collaboration which we will carry with us into the new year.
A few weeks ago, we went public with the news that we have acquired another British company, Safety Technology Limited, and their subsidiary Safety Technology USA. We have worked with STL for many years and know them well. Their position as a specialist in the wind, telecom, and power market in the UK, together with Abtech, gives us the ability to offer our customers in the UK the best solutions, together with local service and support. Not to forget the exciting new opportunities in the United States.
We are now entering the new year with lots of fresh energy. We will continue to face challenges with some deliveries and supplies of raw materials, as well as coping with the uncertainties the pandemic presents to us all, but we look forward to a continuation of our good cooperation during 2022.
