FIXED FALL ARREST SYSTEMS

BENEFITS WITH FIXED FALL ARREST SYSTEMS

Fixed Fall protection systems are permanently installed products, such as anchor points, wire systems, rail systems or safety guardrails. These enable work in fall-risk areas to be performed safely and easily. We have extensive experience in installing various types of systems. Regardless of the complexity of the system or the environment, we make sure to always find the best solution for our customers.

We carry out calculations and installations for everything from roofs, exteriors, masts, machine chimneys and overhead walkways. If customized components and solutions are required, we'll sort that out too. We have installation technicians all across the Nordic region. Once the fall protection system is in place, we verify that the system is correctly installed and fit for purpose we issue a certificate for use.

Installation instructions are included for simpler systems which can be installed by the customer. The customer is responsible for ensuring that installation is done correctly and that the system is certified for use.

Below we have listed the most common types of fall protection systems. That being said, every workplace is unique and we adjust our solution to suit your work environment. Do not hesitate to contact our sales department via the contact form.

GUARDRAILS AND GRIDS

When working in industries and on roofs it can sometimes be hard to assemble a wire or rail system to prevent fall risks. Collective systems give you more freedom to preform your work safely on roofs or industries.

Guardrails is the most used fall protection system for highly trafficked areas. Designed as a protection barrier, they allow safe access to a specific point, protect users against hazards when working at height and mark danger areas. Installed all along the edge of the roof or around industrial machines, they allow an easy access without using any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) against falls and ensure the safety of workers while doing maintenance or cleaning operations. The guardrails are available in different models and are made of aluminum. Folding models and gates are available as accessories.

Grids can be installed near smoke vents or rooflights to prevent falling. It is made of stainless steel and provide safety to workers on roofs and allows a good smoke extraction as well.

VERTICAL WIRE SYSTEMS

A vertical wire system is a fall protection system suitable for varied vertical structures such as ladders, wind turbines and pylons. The system is designed for you to move along the wire rope without unclipping and allows one person to move up and down the wire. The wire rope is flexible and is entirely made of stainless steel which makes it resistant against weather exposure.  It’s also equipped with tension control and fall indicators.

HORIZONTAL WIRE SYSTEM

A horizontal wire system is a fall protection system suitable for industries, roofs and facades and is especially designed for you to move along the wire rope without unclipping. The system allows five persons to work at the same time. The wire's flexibility and the intermediate brackets allow freedom of movement in all directions. With suitable carriages the system allows connection anywhere and the wire is equipped with tension control and fall indicators. The wire is entirely made of stainless steel which makes it resistant against weather exposure.

VERTICAL RAIL SYSTEM

A fixed fall protection system with rail are designed for significant heights and provides flexibility while climbing up and down. The rail is made of aluminum and one single rail is used for all types of applications. A vertical rail system is suitable for ladders, wind turbines or pylons.

HORIZONTAL RAIL SYSTEM

A horizontal rail system gives you free movement all along the rail without disconnecting your carriage and a horizontal rail system is designed to work at distance, in tension or under loads. A horizontal rail system can be combined with a wire rope where no fixing basis is available.

You might think that a rail system is not flexible, but the fact is that you can bend a rail to fit the environment it will be assembled to.
