As some of you might know Global Wind Organisation (GWO) launched two new training standards on the 1st of October this year. One of them is GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) which course Cresto currently is conduction in Halmstad. (The images above show practical training from the course).
The ART consists of 3 modules which can be combined into a 3 days training course. The course is aimed to those who already are certified in GWO working at Height, but work in challenging environments such as the hub, wing, basement, nacelle or confined spaces. The second training standard is the GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) which is aimed to personnel (technicians) working in wind power with the aim of increasing their acute care skills. It is also aimed at employees who want to improve their level of knowledge within emergency care. It’s a 2 or 3 days course depending on if you already have the GWO FA or FAR.
